The fruit wine category is evermore exciting! I’d be the first to say that fruit wines of the past lacked a vinosity that put them in the realm of boozy fruit juices. But the best of today’s fruit wines deliver structural integrity and a purity of fruit that makes them truly beguiling. While these can be sipped on their own or with a meal, they also offer exciting opportunities in cocktails too.
