Malbec

Smooth, fruity, ripe, and easy drinking, malbec doesn’t struggle to make friends. While many countries make malbec, Argentina continues to rule the market, with satisfying bottles at still very good prices. Through the years, the styles of malbec have shifted a bit away from the rich mocha and coffee notes that come from oak to fresher red fruit, which I believe is a good thing.
