Pinot Noir
Pinot Noir is called the heartbreak grape as it’s so difficult to grow. There were few heartbreaks for us judging this category, however. The category featured many strong entries and many of these were Canadian. If you’ve ever tasted Canadian Pinot Noir, you know our wineries are making excellent examples, from Prince Edward County and Niagara in Ontario to British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley. - Shelley Boettcher
