Sangiovese & its Blends

While this beloved Italian variety is grown throughout the country, it is in the rolling hills of Tuscany where it truly shines. Known for its bright acidity, savoury character, and love of food, sangiovese is the foundation of iconic wines including Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, and many Super Tuscans. This year’s flight showcased the diversity of this celebrated Italian classic.  - Laurie MacKay
